My New Thing

I was out looking for a Christmas gift for my

oldest Sister and came across a

"Journaling Bible."

I was impressed!! What a great idea!!

I came home and started researching the subject!!
WOW!! There's lots of info to be found!!

I was a little worried about using an expensive Bible

and ruining it so.... I went to Ollie's and 

picked up a Bible for $7. Great deal!! Its not a journaling 

Bible per-say. It didn't even have wide margins.

But that's OK!! I just won't put much writing in it...

just some art. Which is good since I still want 

to be able to read the words in the Bible!!  

I was anxious to get started!!

There are few things to learn. I will do a post more 

about what I'm finding works and what doesn't 

to much!! Here are first few pages/verses I've done!!

First page I did...It's a little plain, 

but it's one of my favorite verses.

Psalms 147:4

So...between crocheting and web idea searching, 

I will be trying to be creative with Bible art journaling!! 

This is gonna be fun!!

(BTW-- I did get a journaling Bible for my sister!! 

Just gotta find the perfect pens/markers for her to use in it

 and pick them up!! I'm almost ready for Christmas!!)
