We have SNOW!!

I am so excited to finally say we

have some snow!!!!! WOO-HOO!!

It's beautiful, but already melting and making

the roads a slushy mess!! Ick!!

However, I'm in for the day so it

all works out!! *smile* I can't wait to get

to some scrapping while I look at the snow!!

Another LO of my DD at homecoming!!

I made the flowers with fiskars punches and

blue rain dots and a MS leaf punch.

The butterflies are also fiskars and MS punches.

Homecoming

Last Saturday night was my daughters

first homecoming!! She was excited!!

She looked so beautiful, and so grown up!!

Where has my baby gone?? *sigh*

Here are a couple of layouts I have finished

from her big night!!

For sb dot com's 2 photo challenge.

Since her dress was black and white

I tried to stick to that theme.

For this one I used a doily and some lace

to spice it up!! The 'card' on the side is really

the ticket for the evening, and the ribbon

beside it was on the little gift bag that was

given out to each person.

This one is for the multi photo challenge at

sb dot com and also for the

sketchablities challenge.

I really liked this sketch!! It was fun

to put together!! This is Vashti getting her hair done

before the event.

I kept with the black and white

and use coral to spice it up!! I added prima

flowers, and zva bling. I used my grand calibur for the pix,

love that gadget!! I used fiskars border punches

for the edges, and for the 'leaves' on the flowers.

Sorry about the poor pix!! My camera died the

night of homecoming. I was so sad!! I hope to get

a new one soon!! Anyone have a favorite

point and shoot camera that they would recommend??

There are so many to choose from. I want something

not to complicated, but takes good pictures, not to expensive

and that fits easily in my purse. Thanks for any advice you can give!!

Weekend Layouts!!

Hello!! So glad to have you stop in to visit.

I spent most of my weekend

working on layout challenges.

First one:

Sketchablities. I loved the sketch they

have posted, although I didn't do it

near the justice it deserves!!
I used my cricut with the SCAL program to cut the doily
and the banners. I used a MS punch for the smaller
butterlies. I used the grand calibur to cut the large butterfly
and the other shapes on the lo!!

For My Creative Sketches:

And lastly, my least favorite!! *L*

I struggles with so much!! I think I worked

and re-worked it for a week!! ugh!!

It's for the past pagemaps challenge

over at scrapbook dot com, week 1.
