God has a Plan

Hello!!

Isn't wonderful to know

that God has a plan for our life??

He knew us before we were born,

and had a plan just for you!! Just for me!!

I love this weeks verse at Word Art Wednesday:

What a wonderful promise and blessing for each of us!!
I also came across this wonderful word of truth this week:

Although Jesus may not always approve of our actions or choices, 

He always approves of us as a person whom He created, 

whom He loves, and whom He thought

We are IMPORTANT to God!!

Right down to the plan for our life!! 

WOW!! What an AMAZING God I serve!!

I so hope that you do too!!

on our card this week. The paper, flower and pearls

are all new things used on my card!!

A Good Scrappy Week

The Lord is my Strength

Hello everyone!!

I know I seem to be MIA lately,

but a lot has been happening in my world.

I was dreadfully ill for more than 2weeks,

I recovered just in time for my mother to

find out that her heart wasn't doing well,

and needed a pacemaker. They placed

that for her on Monday. She is doing well.

She has her arm in a sling, so she needs

a little help with things, so I have been running to her

house to help her out this week.

Wednesday, my oldest sister, spent the night

in the ER. 16 years ago she had

a brain tumor that almost claimed her life.

The symptoms are back, and do to her addictions and
 life issues, no one is really taking things seriously.

I spoke with her Dr. yesterday and they are

going to be doing a scan of her brain as soon as possible.

We pray that there's nothing there!! Please join us in

praying that it's something else. She was so sick last

time, and seriously was given no hope!!

Mother has been quite worried as well.

It doesn't help that she's laying in bed a lot

at the moment and gives her plenty of time to

think and go over Donna's issues and

surgery from before. Our family would

truly benefit from any prayers you could speak

on out behalf right now!!

Colors of the Rainbow

When I was 10 the girl next door told

me the trick to remembering the colors of the rainbow.

Roy G Biv

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue,

indigo and violet.

I'm surprised how that little trick has lasted me so long!!

Cards Again!!

Well, it finally happened. I got bored and

decided to make some cards.

Takes a bit to get back into them!!

How is that you can go about making cards,

make a couple you really like, and then

totally make one that is not at all how you

envisioned it and really just don't like it at all??

Well, I seem to do it regularly!! *L*

Here's what I made:

(GREAT devotion there this week!! Be sure to check it out!!)

I Did It Creations-love.

This card is a lift from Nicutopia over at sb dot com.

LOVED it!! I have a few changes, like the clock,

which is from 3tailscraft, that I embossed with brown

embossing powder. I just really like the way this one turned out!!

(It is really cream and burgundy, not sure why it looks so yellow)

Lollipop Crafts-wings. (see the little bees?? aren't they cute?!)

So for day 8 at Scrap That!

 we were to use a doily!!

This card is also for the sketch

challenge at Paper Pretties Wednesday.
Dutch Dare-winged things!!

Stampin' Sisters in Christ-use an angel.

Flutter By Wednesday-angel, butterfly or fairy.

Scrap That! day 9- use corrugated board.

The first layer is the corrugated board, which I painted

white and then used TH ink on it to distress it some.

The next layer is actually a deep red, shimmer paper.

I don't know why it's showing up pink.

I distressed that too, along with the image.

Added the lace, trim pearls and flower!!
