One Card!!

I have one card for one challenge to share today!!

It's for The Friday Mashup!-sketch.

It seems that everyone has taken a much deserved

break on the challenge sites until after the holiday!!

Which has given me plenty of time to

do some layouts!! I am so loving doing

them again!! It's all thanks to Pat over

at sb dot com for hosting the past pagemaps

challenges!! I love using sketches so this has been perfect!!

Here's a couple I have done recently.

And.... I have pictures from Christmas so I

will be scrapping even more layouts

in the next few day!!

snowflakes last year when I wanted snow and we didn't have any!!

So for day 8 at Scrap That!

 we were to use a doily!!

Dutch Dare-winged things!!

Stampin' Sisters in Christ-use an angel.

Flutter By Wednesday-angel, butterfly or fairy.

Scrap That! day 9- use corrugated board.

The first layer is the corrugated board, which I painted

white and then used TH ink on it to distress it some.

The next layer is actually a deep red, shimmer paper.

I don't know why it's showing up pink.

I distressed that too, along with the image.

Added the lace, trim pearls and flower!!

It's December!!

Hello!!  I'm back!!
It's December already!! Where did this year go??

I got to use my awesome new punch for this!!
I love how it turned out!!

Even DH thinks it's cool!!

It is a labor of love. Lots of time and use of tweezers!!

Crafty Catz-snowmen.

Crafty Cardmakers-heat embossing.

The pink paper was plain when I started.

I stamped white snowflakes on it and added

white embossing powder to them!! I've wanted

paper like this for years, but could never find it.

Still can't believe it took me so long to come up

with my own!! Mercy!! Also, the pink on the

mittens, is pink paislee pixie stix.

It SNOWED!!!!!!!!

It snowed last night!!

It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

DD was super happy because school was

cancelled for today!!!!!!! Me too!!

We only got 5-6 inches, but it had rained all day

before turning over to snow. It was such a lovely,

but heavy snow!! It stuck to the trees and they

were simply enchanting!!

Love it when it snows.

I'm here with a few challenges.

I got to work on a few today as well, and will

post them tomorrow!!

But for now:

I used another tut from Kittie Kraft.

I actually don't have the punch she uses.

I can't seem to find it anywhere, so I had a brilliant idea.

I saw this tree punch at Joann's for 60% off last Saturday

and decided it had to work!! And it does!!!!!!!

One of the best gadgets I've bought in a while....

and at only $4 bucks, it's a keeper!!
