Cards

Hello!!
So glad to have you stop by to visit!!
I have 3 cards to share today!!

This one was sweet.
The verse was, "I prayed for this
child and the Lord has granted me
what I asked of Him." 1 Samuel 1:27
It is the exact same verse (in a different version)
that we used on our daughter's birth announcement!!
As such, I dug around until I found the
hand print stamps I used for the birth announcement!!
I was so excited to find them and use them on this card!!
It's so hard to remember her being so tiny!! Especially when
I think about how big the stamps were in comparison
to her tiny little hands!! When she was born a quarter
would completely cover her tiny little hand, and my husbands
wedding band was like a bangle bracelet on her wrist!!
Thank you Lord, for the wonderful blessing of my daughter!!

Paper Pretties Wednesday-blue, black and white.

I hope that you enjoyed looking at my cards!!
Thanks for stopping and for any words
of kindness you leave behind!!

Cards Again!!

Well, it finally happened. I got bored and
decided to make some cards.
Takes a bit to get back into them!!
How is that you can go about making cards,
make a couple you really like, and then
totally make one that is not at all how you
envisioned it and really just don't like it at all??
Well, I seem to do it regularly!! *L*

Here's what I made:
(GREAT devotion there this week!! Be sure to check it out!!)
This card is a lift from Nicutopia over at sb dot com.
LOVED it!! I have a few changes, like the clock,
which is from 3tailscraft, that I embossed with brown
embossing powder. I just really like the way this one turned out!!
(It is really cream and burgundy, not sure why it looks so yellow)

Lollipop Crafts-wings. (see the little bees?? aren't they cute?!)

Crafty Catz-buttons and bows.

That's all for now!! Thanks so much for
stopping by!! Love to have you visit!!
Don't forget the blog candy
I'm offering in celebration of my
2 year Blog-o-versary!!
Be sure to leave a comment on the post
Blog Anniversary for a chance to win this *Blog Candy*!!

Hope you'll visit again soon!!
Until next time...............tootles!!

Old vs. New

Since I'm celebrating my 2 year
blog-o-versary this week, I thought
I'd re-visit a post I made 2 years ago today!!
Organization!!
I love being organized!!
I'm ALWAYS looking for efficient, in arms reach,
in a small space, solutions!!
Wow, that was a mouth full!!
I was looking back at some of my first posts
ever and saw this one: Scrap Space!!
I thought not much had really changed here
in my studio, but upon further looking,
there are a few things added.
This is what it looks like today:
This a pretty good overview!!
I'm currently looking for new storage that
will bring the plastic boxes down to a level
that I can reach them!! I'm short and have a
hard enough time just getting the bottom ones down!!

This is my paper storage. Well, 95% of it!!
There is actually 4 plastic bins on the middle shelf.
Then the 4 - 12x12 bins on the bottom.
Above that is more paper.
As you can see, I have a serious paper problem!!

These upper shelves have been put up since the last post!!
I LOVE them!! They are shallow and hold flowers,
buttons, glimmer mist, and few other important things.
Between the shelves on the wall and the shelves on the
floor, is my fabulous salvation army find!! 3 bucks.
It holds my inks and embossing powders!! LOVE it!!
The bottom sets of drawers hold a variety of things...
adhesive, punches, lettering, journaling spots, ect.

I love that most everything is just an arms lengths away!!
As I said, I'm always looking for awesome
new storage idea's!! I hope to sort out the plastic
box issue soon!! I am also working on a good way
to store my spellbinders dies!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking
this little old vs. new journey with me!!
If you have any idea's or suggestions for me...
PLEASE share!! Thank you!!

Until next time...........tootles!!
