A Layout...at last!

It seems like forever since I actually did

a scrapbook layout.

I've had this picture for a month or two and

just didn't seem to have the umph to do it!!

After visiting my friend Lisa's blog for the

bazillionth time, I decided I would try her style.

I totally LOVE her layouts.

 All the layering she does blows me away.

Now that my lo is finished, I have decided that

it looks NOTHING like Lisa's!!

Her pages are amazing!! How does she do it??

I am pleased with the out come....

it's just that it isn't what it was suppose to be!!
*lol* Don't you love when that happens??

AMAZING works of art!!

For this layout, I used a chipboard border,

that I embossed with white embossing powder.

Then I inked the edges with some brown chalk.

then I layered it on the background paper and cut

the paper to fit inside it. I distressed and inked

the picture mattes with the same brown chalk.

The butterflies are from 3 Tails Crafts.

The gate I cut on my cricut using my

Sure Cuts A Lot program.

Added some lace, flowers and pearls and wa-la....
